Lightweighting with Excelite can typically achieve densities of 0.45g/cm3 and less, without adverse effects on quality surface finish and other physical properties. Improved Surface Finish
Excelite™ liquid foaming agent creates a much finer, more consistent cell structure within the extruded polymer. This allows a smoother surface finish to be created which in printed materials can be particularly beneficial for an improved print finish with greater clarity and definition.
Greater Production Flexibility
Excelite™ liquid foaming agent is delivered directly to the extruder feed throat. This enables more frequent production changes, smaller production quantities become viable and greater in line production flexibility can be achieved.
