ColorMatrix's Eze™ range of processing additives help drive down operational costs by increasing productivity in polymer processing.

Eze™ Technology

Following de-moulding, static charges can often build up on the surface of performs and bottles affecting the frictional behaviour of the part. ColorMatrix's Eze™ process aids migrate to the surface of the preform or bottle helping to minimise the co-efficient of friction by reducing the surface energy of the polymer. This results in improved container aesthetics, smoother processing and a much faster rate of product throughput.

In addition to facilitating the injection and blow moulding processes, the Eze™ range offers the following benefits:

  • Reduced handling and transportation costs, by improved preform packing density (up to 20%, depending on preform geometry)
  • Improved blow-mould release for faster cycle times and higher production rates in both hot-fill and complex bottles designs
